Local and sustainable production of fresh, healthy and tasty tilapia


Tilapia is a traditional favourite dish in almost all countries in Africa; we grow our tilapia in lakes in floating pens. This environment makes for healthy natural Tilapia without overcrowding and health risks wild fish face.  Tilapia is a healthy source which is high in protein and low in calories, fats and carbohydrates. The omega-3 is about the same as other seafood including Tuna and Cod. Tilapia is rich in Vitamin B12, Selenium, Phosphorous, Magnesium and Selenium.

This makes Tilapia the perfect choice for a light, low fat meal and a choice item for restaurants.


Smoking industrially takes two forms- cold and hot smoked.  Cold smoking still requires that the fish be frozen to have the best value in taste. Hot smoking  industrially is carried out in closed containment systems with digital control over the environment, smoke volume and temperature.

Traditional drying and smoking has been practices in Africa for at least 5000 years. A more updated version is outlined below where fish are hung vertically rather than placed on racks, so that effective drying and smoking is accomplished without leaving spot sources for bacterial infection.


Our Tilapia raised in fresh water offers the best in quality fillets, lions and whole fish. We take care to hand-cut uniform in size fillets, packed and ready for our clients to prepare. Out Tilapia is boneless and skinless which makes preparation easy and quick, just add seasoning for great taste.
